Title: Sanitation
Reports to: Sanitation manager
Hourly rate: $16-17

Responsibilities

• Keep plant clean and sanitized
• Work hours and days assigned
• Follow cleaning procedures on SSOP’S
• Follow all safety rules
• Follow all GMP rules

Duties

• Keeps floors clean and sanitized (pick up trash and debris etc.)
• Wash all utensils like trays, spatulas and loggers and more
• Maintain sanitary work area and follow sanitary work habits
• Work hours as needed including overtime
• Meet time and attendance requirements
• Follow instructions from leads and supervisors
• After being properly trained the employee responsibilities will also include properly and safely clean the equipment.
• Following SSOP’s for each of the machine

Essential job functions

• Work in production environment below 50 degrees
• Lift, push, pull 50 lbs unaided
• Turning, twisting motions
• Repetitive hand motion, left hand and right hand
• Reach about head and below waist
• Squatting, Kneeling, bending, stooping, walking
• Wear latex sanitary gloves for the duration of production
• Work with and around equipment and machinery
• Work on wet floor, wearing slip-resistant water-proof footwear
• Knowledge of log out and tag out procedure
• Wearing PPE required by MSDS

Expected level of performance standards

• 1st week must clean be able to keep floors clean and know were all work tools are located (Brooms, squeegee, mops, brooms etc.)
• Demonstrate knowledge of GMP’s and safety procedures
• Within 5 days employee must demonstrate ability to work to standards of productivity
• Within 30 days employee must demonstrate ability to work all positions whiting the Sanitation department and to standards of productivity.
